About Sage

Sage Kirwan is a New York based actor and emerging theater producer with a particular interest in stories that center on history, archetypal psychology, politics and esoteric spirituality.

She most recently produced new play Escalation Time at Studio 17, as part of Radicant Productions.

Previous producing work includes a staged reading of Real Good For Free with Radicant Productions, and line producing Talking With Angels: Budapest, 1943 at Theater Lab.

As an actor, Sage frequently participates in theater development and has performed in various readings and new works, including readings with AMT Theater and 29th Street Playwrights.

Sage previously spent the past decade in film and television. Screen credits include film-festival shorts Gen Sex (2024) and Lingering (2020), as well as the HBO-film Paterno (2018). She has co-starred in television favorites Blue Bloods (CBS), Shades of Blue (NBC), Dietland (AMC) and Nurse Jackie (Showtime), opposite Edie Falco. Previous student of Bob Krawkower and associate teachers. BFA in Drama from NYU Tisch.

2026 CIPA Rising Producer Fellow

Sage is a 2026 CIPA fellow. The Creative & Independent Producer Alliance Rising Producer Fellowship supports early- to mid-career producers with funding, mentorship, and professional development resources. After completing a course of foundational producing seminars taught by a rotating roster of industry professional guest lecturers, fellows are eligible for paid placement with a producer to support their work over a 6 month work period.
